2026 Syllabus - Voice
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY:
All repertoire other than sight-singing or ensemble classes must be memorized. A performance wherein the repertoire is not memorized will receive an adjudication but will not receive a mark. With the exception of oratorio and operatic classes, where repertoire must come from standard editions, all other repertoire may engage transposition to suit the singer's vocal development.
We are pleased to offer Classical classes by level or by age, Contemporary, Popular, Own Composition, Mature Adult, Duet, Trio and Small Ensemble along with a Non-Competitive section for registrants that want only the feedback from a highly qualified adjudicator.

Most classes are Provincial qualifying except for Non-Competitive classes. However, any questions should be directed to Hilary Greer, 519-520-4986.
There are 2 Major Vocal Awards (PLEASE ENSURE YOU ENROLL IN THE PROPER CLASSES):
- Rotary Club of St. Thomas Vocal Music Award - Intermediate ($500)
- Doris Evans Award - Senior ($1000)
Mature/Adult/Late Beginner Age 50+
These classes are intended for mature, non-professional beginners (50 years and up). They are not intended for students studying privately, students or university levels, or young professionals. Does not qualify for Provincial Competition.
