2026 Syllabus - Orchestra and Band
- Music selections may be from concerts or performances already in rehearsal or that are intended for use in other events during the current year (school year).
- Orchestras must be of a size to include all standard sections.
- For strings only, see section 6 Strings.
- When entering performance time on the registration form, it must include time required for set-up and warm-up as well as actual performance time.
- It is the responsibility of the conductor to ensure that all members of the group are in the auditorium before the session or class is called.
- See the rules section for photography and recording and protection of individual rights to privacy.
- For registration it will be 1 Group. However, please ensure the number of members of the band or orchestra are noted in the registration under notes.
- The Festival does not provide percussion or any other instruments except a piano/keyboard. There are some music stands available, but recommended to bring their own stands.
- The adjudicator must be provided original music score or proof of online purchase for the proper copies required.
